Deliver the drives to our secure processing facility and we’ll get to work. Our 20,000 sq. ft. facility has designated areas for each service we provide, ensuring the safe destruction of your data-bearing devices.

Verification

Upon delivery, each hard drive is logged into our secure tracking system. We record the serial numbers and provide you with a detailed inventory, maintaining a secure chain of custody from the moment we receive your drives until they are destroyed.

Physical Destruction

Our primary methods for hard drive and hard disk destruction is Hard Drive Shredding. This is tailored to meet your specific security needs. We also ensure the secure destruction of various storage devices, including solid state drives, CDs, DVDs, and portable storage devices:

  • Shredding: Our industrial-grade shredding machines reduce hard drives into small, irrecoverable fragments. This process completely destroys the drive platters, mechanisms, and electronic components, ensuring that data cannot be reconstructed. The resulting particles are typically 15mm or smaller.

After the destruction process, we issue a Certificate of Destruction. This certificate provides a detailed account of the destruction process, including serial numbers and the method used, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.

The shredded materials, including various forms of storage media such as optical disks, removable storage, solid state drives, microfilm, audio and backup tapes, floppy disks, and even old VHS tapes, as well as metals and plastics, are sent to our recycling partners.
